Noticeboard

Due to the close supervision order for Dr A Chopra, we are no longer accepting new patients onto our list. This is so that we can continue to offer the same high standards of care to our existing patients. We have agreed our position with the Hastings & Rother Clinical Commissioning Group. If you are a registered patient and have a new baby they will continue to be accepted on to the practice list in the usual way. This decision will be reviewed again 1 October 2017. Please see the latest news section for further details.

Welcome to Dr Chopra's Practice, Roebuck House Surgery

Welcome to our new practice website covering both the Old Town practice and our branch surgery in the village of Guestling.

We aim to provide all of our patients with a comprehensive range of healthcare services covering one-off problems to longer term illnesses. Feel free to explore the site, learn about the Practice & it's staff, as well as find out how you and your family can benefit from our personal and professional approach to healthcare provision.

Dr Chopra shares premises with other GPs at Roebuck Surgery, situated in Hastings Old Town. He also has a branch surgery at Guestling and dispenses medication from there to his rural patients. There is easy free parking at Guestling Surgery. There are no dedicated patient parking facilities at Roebuck Surgery with parking available at meters on the street, and in the nearby pay and display carparks. Free time limited (2 hour) parking is a 5 minute walk away at the bottom of Old London Road & Harold Road.

Online Services

We have been advised by NHS England that we should phase out the current online repeat prescription facility on our website. Patients will still be able to request repeat prescriptions via the Patient Online Access Service which offers a safer and more simple prescription request service as details of a patient’s repeat prescriptions are already listed and the patient has to simply select the medication they require. These details are then sent directly to the practice. The Patient Online Facility also enables patients to access our appointment system and to check the details that the surgery holds regarding allergies / allergic reactions.

Further information regarding the Patient Online Service can be found by selecting

https://www.england.nhs.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/pat-guid-getting-started-gp-online.pdf

If you have not already signed up for this service, please request the registration form from one of the reception staff when you next visit the surgery.

Once you have registered, you can either select the Patient Access Service directly from our website, or save the link into your favourites in your web browser.

If you have any questions, please contact the Practice Manager at the surgery.
